Kindergarten Assessments: End Of Year Kindergarten Assessments will be May 20, 23 and 24. In order to make an appointment parents or guardians need to go to Skyward Family Access and select a time available for your child's teacher.

Kindergarten Orientation Packet
If your child will be 5 years old on or before Sept 1, 2022, please register them for Kindergarten. You may register online at this link: https://planning.jordandistrict.org/enrollment/ or you may fill out a form in the office. You will need to provide a copy of your child's birth certificate and immunization record. Please pass this information along to any neighbors that have qualifying children. Thanks for your help!
Once you have completed the online enrollment portion, please take the following required forms to the school to complete the enrollment process (schools may require additional information):

- Parent/legal custodial guardian's picture identification (driver's license, state agency picture ID, or passport)
- Child's original or certified birth certificate

- Proof of Residency - English/Spanish (Before a student is enrolled in a Utah public school, the student’s parent(s) or legal guardian(s) must show proof of Utah residency in the school district and school boundary in which the student desires to enroll. )

Dear Parents/Guardians of Kindergarten Students:
We are looking forward to having your student join us at West Jordan Elementary! The first day of school for our kindergarten students will be Wednesday, August 25th. This letter is to remind you that you will need to make an appointment for a 30 minute kindergarten assessment session for your student before school begins. You will also need to complete the required online registration for your student. Instructions for both are enclosed.
Your child is required to have a birth certificate and current immunizations on file in the office before they begin school. If you did not bring these items to the pre-kindergarten assessment or haven’t turned them into the office yet, please bring them to your assessment appointment. Your child will not be able to begin school without a current immunization record.
Assessment Scheduling will be done online in Skyward Family Access. Assessment appointments are available for August 17- 20, and additional morning kindergarten appointments are also available August 23& 24, 2022. If you have difficulty scheduling in Skyward, please feel free to contact the office at 801-565-7506 and we can help.
Online registration is required for all new and continuing students every year. Students who have not completed online registration will not be able to use the computer lab or participate in field trips until registration is completed.
Online School Registration is Open now and should be completed by August 16th.
